A BIG shoutout to a friend of the LobShots family, Kyle Zimmer. Kyle is a sophomore pitcher at University of San Francisco, and he just went upside the head of the projected #1 pick in this year’s MLB draft, UCLA’s Gerrit Cole. In the first round of the regional tournament in UCLA, Kyle tossed a 4 hit complete game shutout as USF beat #1 seed UCLA and this dude named Cole. Every site I’ve seen has had Cole projected as the number 1 pick, and all I’ve got to say, is that he’s lucky Zimmer isn’t eligible for the draft this year. Way to hold it down Kyle, GET SOME!!
