SAN DIEGO – A smart car was found abandoned in Pacific Beach Wednesday and police are investigating how it got there.
San Diego police received a report about an abandoned car at 6:34 a.m. in the 4800 block of Ocean Boulevard.
A tow truck was called in to take the truck away.
“SWEET! What does mine say?” One of you lobsters are gonna wake up this afternoon and ask the question… “where’s my smart car?” Well, by now, it’s at tow yard. Expect to pay a hefty fine. That’s what you get for spending Christmas day getting hammered instead of talking to your family.
Kidding aside, fingers crossed that this is harmless and the end result here isn’t a report about someone getting eaten by a shark or drowning or something else terrible.
**update: as Katie pointed out, this is definitely a Car2Go ride… which means, the last driver registered to that car has some ‘splainin’ to do.**
